Flying High

My first flight started out with an early wake up on Thursday the 6th November at 5am. Here we are all dressed and ready to go.

I'd been up for 4hours and was sooooooo tired by the time we got on the plane. But it was so cramped I just couldn't sleep, the plane was so small there was no bassinet. Luckily my daddy managed to get us upgraded to business class and with more space to breathe I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep and wake up a bit more fresh.

Once we arrived in Wellington, we dropped off our bags at the hotel, I got a feed, then we went to visit some very special people. Mr & Mrs De Liefde helped Kong and Ma get to New Zealand after they got out of the war in Cambodia. It was wonderful to meet them and thank them for their generosity all those many years ago, otherwise I would not be here today.
